Dashboard
Overview​
The Dashboard provides a centralized view of the IQ security panel and all connected devices. It allows users to monitor panel health, communication status, power status, software version, and connected device categories from a single screen.
Users typically access this page to:
- Verify panel connectivity and operational status.
- Monitor battery, power, Wi-Fi, and cellular communication.
- Review connected security and automation devices.
- Quickly identify connectivity or device issues.
- Navigate between different device categories.
- Run configuration wizard
The dashboard serves as the primary monitoring page for the IQ panel and its associated devices.
Before you begin​
Preconditions​
- An IQ panel must be registered and connected to the system.
- The installer mobile application must be enabled.
Important limitations​
- Offline devices may not display current status information.

Panel info section​
The Panel Info card provides a summary of the IQ panel status.
Available indicators may include:

| Cellular signal | Shows cellular communication availability. | Signal strength icon changes based on connection quality. |

Devices info section​
The Devices Info section organizes connected devices by category.
Supported categories may include:

How to use this page​
Review panel status​
Goal:
- Verify that the IQ panel is operational and connected.
Steps:
- Open the Dashboard page.
- Review the Panel Info section.
- Check Wi-Fi status.
- Check cellular signal status.
- Verify AC power connection.
- Review battery percentage and charging state.
- Confirm the software version if required.
Expected result:
- Panel status is visible.
- Communication and power information are available.
- Potential connectivity issues can be identified.
View security devices​
Goal:
- Review registered PowerG security devices.
Steps:
- Open the Dashboard page.
- In Devices Info, select Security.
- Review the displayed PowerG device information.
Expected result:
- All enrolled security devices are displayed.
- Device counts are visible.
View Wi-Fi devices​
Goal:
- Review connected Wi-Fi devices.
Steps:
- Open the Dashboard page.
- Select the Wi-Fi tab.
- Review available Wi-Fi devices.
Expected result:
- Connected Wi-Fi devices are displayed.
- Device availability can be verified.
View automation devices​
Goal:
- Review automation and Z-Wave devices.
Steps:
- Open the Dashboard page.
- Select the Auto tab.
- Review displayed automation devices.
Expected result:
- Registered automation devices are displayed.
- Device counts are available.
Verify communication status​
Goal:
- Confirm that the panel can communicate through available channels.
Steps:
- Open the Dashboard page.
- Review the communication icons in the Panel Info section.
- Verify Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Verify cellular connectivity.
- Check for warning indicators.
Expected result:
- Active communication channels are identified.
- Communication failures are visible.
A missing cellular signal or disconnected Wi-Fi connection may affect panel communication depending on the system configuration.
Tips​
- Review the dashboard regularly to identify communication issues before they affect system operation.
- Verify battery and AC status after power outages.
Troubleshooting​
Panel shows no Wi-Fi connection​
Possible causes
- Wi-Fi network unavailable.
- Incorrect network configuration.
- Panel is outside network coverage.
What to do
- Verify that the Wi-Fi network is operational.
- Check panel Wi-Fi settings.
- Move the panel closer to the wireless access point if applicable.
- Refresh the dashboard and verify the connection status.
Cellular data shows no signal​
Possible causes
- Poor cellular coverage.
- Cellular module issue.
- Temporary carrier outage.
What to do
- Verify cellular service availability.
- Check panel communication settings.
- Restart the panel if permitted by your organization.
- Contact system support if the issue persists.
