Events page
Overview​
The Events page displays a chronological timeline of events generated by the security panel and connected devices. It provides visibility into system activity, alarms, status changes, troubles, restorations, and device-related events.
Installers typically access this page to:
- Monitor panel activity.
- Review historical events.
- Investigate alarms or system issues.
- Verify when a specific event occurred.
- Filter and search event records.
The page presents events in a timeline format, making it easier to understand the sequence of actions and system changes.
Before you begin​
Preconditions​
- The panel must be registered and connected to the system.
- Events must exist for the selected panel.
Important limitations​

- Only events that have been recorded by the system are displayed.
- Event rotation periods may vary depending on system configuration.

How to use this page​
Review recent events​
Goal:
- View the latest activity generated by the panel.
Steps:
- Open the Events page.
- Review the most recent date group at the top of the timeline.
- Examine event timestamps and descriptions.
Expected result:
- The latest panel activity is displayed.
- Events are shown in chronological order.
Search for a specific event​
Goal:
- Find a known event quickly.
Steps:
- Open the Events page.
- Select the Search icon.
- Enter relevant search criteria.
- Review matching results.
Expected result:
- Matching event records are displayed.

Use device names, event names, or event categories to narrow results more effectively.
Filter event history​
Goal:
- Display only relevant events.
Steps:
- Open the Events page.
- Select the Filter icon.
- Choose available filter criteria.
- Apply the filter.
- Review the filtered event list.
Expected result:
- Only events that match the selected criteria are displayed.

Troubleshooting​
Events are not visible​
Possible causes
- No events have been generated.
- The selected panel has no available event history.
What to do
- Verify that the correct panel is selected.
- Confirm that event logging is enabled.
- Reopen the page and try again.
Search returns no results​
Possible causes
- Incorrect search criteria.
- No matching events exist.
- Filters are restricting results.
What to do
- Verify search terms.
- Remove active filters.
- Expand the search scope.
- Search using device or event names.
