Visonic
Overview
The Visonic provides a software-based interface for connecting to and operating a Visonic alarm panel in Direct mode. The page replicates the functionality of a physical keypad and allows authorized installers to interact with the panel from a mobile device.
Installers typically access this page when they need to:
- Connect directly to a Visonic panel through the panel access point or USB connection.
- Authenticate using a valid installer access code.
- View panel status indicators.
- Navigate panel menus.
- Perform arming and disarming operations.
- Access panel functions that are normally available through a physical keypad.
The virtual keypad is useful when a physical keypad is unavailable or when local panel management is required during installation, configuration, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
