Dashboard

Overview​

Use the Dashboard to review IQ Panel health, connectivity, power, software, and connected devices.

Use this screen to:

  • Check panel connectivity and operating status.
  • Review battery, power, Wi-Fi, and cellular status.
  • Review connected security and automation devices.
  • Identify connectivity or device issues.
  • View device categories.
  • Start the configuration wizard.

Before you begin​

Preconditions​

  • Make sure the IQ Panel is powered on and operational.

Important limitations​

  • Offline devices might not display current status information.

Screen layout​

Dashboard screen​

  1. WizardStarts the panel configuration wizard for guided setup or maintenance.
  2. Panel Info sectionShows panel hardware information and communication status.
  3. Devices Info sectionShows connected device categories and device counts. Select Security, Wi-Fi, or Auto to view the corresponding devices.

Panel info section​

The Panel Info card provides a summary of the IQ Panel status.

Available indicators may include:

  1. Wi-FiShows the Wi-Fi connection status and, when available, the connected network name.
  2. Cellular signalShows cellular availability. The signal indicator reflects connection quality.
  3. AC powerShows whether the panel is connected to AC power.
  4. BatteryShows the battery condition and, when available, its charge level and charging status.
  5. Software versionShows the installed firmware version. This information is read-only.

Devices info section​

The Devices Info section organizes connected devices by category.

Supported categories may include:

  1. SecurityLists PowerG security devices, such as motion sensors, door and window contacts, and detectors.
  2. Wi-FiLists devices connected over Wi-Fi.
  3. AutoLists Z-Wave and other supported automation devices.

Common scenarios​

Review panel status​

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. Review the Panel Info section.
  3. Check Wi-Fi status.
  4. Check cellular signal status.
  5. Confirm the AC power connection.
  6. Review battery percentage and charging state.
  7. Confirm the software version if required.

View security devices​

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. In Devices Info, select Security.
  3. Review the displayed PowerG device information.

View Wi-Fi devices​

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. Select the Wi-Fi tab.
  3. Review the available Wi-Fi devices.

View automation devices​

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. Select the Auto tab.
  3. Review the displayed automation devices.

Verify communication status​

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. Review the communication icons in the Panel Info section.
  3. Confirm Wi-Fi connectivity.
  4. Confirm cellular connectivity.
  5. Check for warning indicators.

A missing cellular signal or disconnected Wi-Fi connection may affect panel communication depending on the system configuration.

  • Review the dashboard regularly to identify communication issues before they affect system operation.
  • Verify battery and AC status after power outages.

Troubleshooting​

Panel shows no Wi-Fi connection​

Possible causes:

  • The Wi-Fi network is unavailable.
  • The network configuration is incorrect.
  • The panel is outside the network coverage area.

What to try:

  1. Check that the Wi-Fi network is working.
  2. Check panel Wi-Fi settings.
  3. If applicable, check that the panel is within range of the wireless access point.
  4. Refresh the Dashboard and check the status.
  5. If the connection remains unavailable, contact your administrator or service provider.

Cellular data shows no signal​

Possible causes:

  • Cellular coverage is poor.
  • The cellular module is unavailable or not configured correctly.
  • The carrier service is temporarily unavailable.

What to try:

  1. Check that cellular service is available.
  2. Check panel communication settings.
  3. Check that the cellular module is available.
  4. If the signal remains unavailable, contact your administrator or service provider.
