State Control
Overview
The State Control widget is the main area in ConnectAlarm for checking and changing the security state of a connected alarm system. Use it to see whether the selected panel or partition is armed or disarmed, and to arm or disarm the system when your user code and permissions allow it.
ConnectAlarm supports remote control and monitoring of compatible Johnson Controls security systems.
Use State Control when you need to:
- Check the current panel or partition status.
- Arm the full system or a selected partition.
- Arm selected areas in Stay or Night mode, when supported by the panel.
- Disarm the system or selected partition.

- State changes depend on communication between the app, PowerManage, communicator, and panel.
- The app may show delayed or unavailable status if the panel, communicator, network, or PowerManage is not reachable.
