Log into PowerManage
Overview​
The Log into PowerManage process lets staff members access PowerManage with their registered email address and password.
Use this page when you need to:
- Sign in to PowerManage.
- Complete the first login by using an OTP.
- Complete MFA verification when MFA is enabled.
- Resolve common sign-in issues.
Before you begin​
Required permissions​
- The staff member must have an active PowerManage account.
- The staff member must have access to the PowerManage login page.
Preconditions​
- The account must be active and approved.
- The staff member must have access to the registered email address.
- The staff member must know the account password or have access to a valid OTP.
- MFA settings must be configured if MFA is enabled.
Dependencies​
- Email delivery depends on the configured email service.
- MFA verification depends on the configured authentication settings.
- Password recovery depends on email delivery.
- First-time login depends on OTP delivery.
Limitations​

- Suspended staff accounts cannot sign in.
- OTPs can only be used once.
- The registered email domain must have at least one valid MX record that resolves to a reachable mail server.
- DNS records for the email domain must be publicly available.
- The mail server must be able to receive external emails.

How to use this page​
Sign in with email and password​
Goal:
- Access PowerManage by using account credentials.
Steps:
- Open the PowerManage login page.
- Enter your registered Email address.
- Enter your Password.
- Select Sign in.
Expected result:
- PowerManage validates the credentials.
- If MFA is disabled, the staff member is signed in.
- If MFA is enabled, sign-in continues with the MFA verification process.
Complete first-time login with OTP​
Goal:
- Sign in for the first time and create a permanent password.
Steps:
- Open the direct login link from the OTP email, or open the login page.
- In Email, enter the registered email address.
- In Password, enter the OTP.
- Select Sign in.
- In New password, enter a permanent password.
- In Confirm new password, enter the same password.
- Select Set password.
Expected result:
- PowerManage validates the OTP.
- PowerManage saves the permanent password.
- If MFA is disabled, the staff member is signed in.
- If MFA is enabled, sign-in continues with the Phone number confirmation form.
If the OTP becomes invalid, use Forgot password? on the login page to request a new OTP.
Complete MFA verification​
Goal:
- Verify identity after entering valid credentials.
Steps:
- Sign in with your email address and password.
- Complete the MFA verification step.
- Enter the verification code if prompted.
- Continue the sign-in process.
Expected result:
- MFA validation succeeds.
- Access to PowerManage is granted.
Recover access to your account​
Goal:
- Regain access when the password is forgotten or no longer works.
Steps:
- Open the login page.
- Select Forgot password?
- Follow the password recovery process.
- Use the received OTP to create a new password.
Expected result:
- PowerManage sends a password recovery email.
- The staff member creates a new password.
- Access to the account is restored.
Tips​
tip
- Use a strong password that contains letters, numbers, and special symbols.
- Keep access to the registered email address.
- Complete OTP-based password setup as soon as possible.
- Do not share passwords or OTPs with other users.
- Contact an administrator if the account remains suspended.
Troubleshooting​
Cannot sign in​
Possible causes
- Incorrect email address.
- Incorrect password.
- Suspended account.
- Account is not approved.
- Invalid or missing MX records for the email domain.
What to do
- Verify the email address.
- Verify that the email domain has valid MX records.
- Re-enter the password.
- Use Forgot password? if necessary.
- Contact an administrator to verify account status.
OTP does not work​
Possible causes
- The OTP was already used.
- The OTP was entered incorrectly.
- The OTP expired or was replaced by a newer OTP.
What to do
- Confirm that the OTP was copied correctly.
- Use the latest OTP email.
- If the OTP was used or invalidated, select Forgot password? on the login page.
- Use the new OTP to sign in and set a permanent password.
OTP or password recovery email is not received​
Possible causes
- Mail server availability issues.
- Email filtering or spam protection rules.
What to do
- Check spam or junk folders.
- Confirm that the mail server is operational.
- Contact an administrator if the issue persists.
MFA verification fails​
Possible causes
- Incorrect verification code.
- Verification timeout.
What to do
- Request a new verification code.
- Retry the MFA process.
- Contact an administrator if the issue persists.
Password cannot be set​
Possible causes
- The password has fewer than 8 characters.
- The password does not include at least 1 letter, 1 number, and 1 special symbol.
- The password and confirmation do not match.
What to do
- Enter a password with at least 8 characters.
- Include at least 1 letter, 1 number, and 1 special symbol.
- Re-enter the same password in Confirm new password.
- Select Set password.
