What you need to do

Typical device enrollment and management

Use the existing PowerManage workflows to enroll and manage supported Neo 5 peripheral devices and modules. When the hardware is supported, PowerManage can recognize the device, add it to the system, display it in the UI, and monitor or manage it where applicable.

Enroll supported PowerG+ devices using a PIN code

For supported PowerG+ devices, use PIN-code enrollment when adding the device to the Neo 5 system.

Enroll one-way devices

For DSC one-way modules and devices, use the supported Neo 5 enrollment workflow.

Review device information

For supported PowerG+ devices, review the additional device details in PowerManage when needed. These details can include firmware version, radio version, radio ID, software version, and Long ID.

info

Additional firmware and radio details are available only for some PowerG+ devices. If these fields are not displayed, the device may not provide this information to PowerManage.

Behavior details

PowerManage 5.0 expands the set of Neo 5-compatible hardware that can be recognized and managed through the platform. When a supported device or module is added to a Neo 5 system, PowerManage can display and monitor the device in the UI and manage or control it where applicable.

For supported PowerG+ devices, enrollment can be completed using a PIN code. Some PowerG+ devices also expose additional firmware and radio information in PowerManage, which can help users identify device versions and support troubleshooting.

Neo 5 also supports enrollment of DSC one-way modules and devices. After enrollment, supported devices are handled according to their device capabilities and the available PowerManage management options.
